一、為推廣海洋科學與科技概念，鼓勵學生「動手做」、發揮創意與巧思、培養運用STEAM跨科領域知識及增加解決問題的精神與能力，並提供深度認識與體驗海洋科技的機會。
二、參加對象：(1)國中小組：國小5年級至國中3年級；(2)高中職組：高中職1年級至3年級。由各校推派學生或學生自行組隊參加。
三、競賽獎勵：參賽隊伍頒發參賽證明，決賽獲選隊伍將頒發獎金及獎狀。
