In 1968, the government implemented the nine-year state education, and the school was approved to be established. Mr. Zheng Lixu was ed as the first principal. The temporary preparation office temporarily established the Provincial Taoyuan Agricultural and Industrial Vocational School, and the work was started immediately. Choosing the school site, after many surveys and discussions, the current site was decided. It is adjacent to Hutoushan Mountain and Nankan River to the north. It has a beautiful environment and little noise, making it a good place to study. At the beginning of the founding of the school, there were many things to think about and many things to do. On the morning of September 9, 1968, eight classes of first-year students and about 20 faculty members gathered in the Taoyuan A&M Auditorium. The principal presided over the opening ceremony. In the afternoon, they moved to Classes at Dongmen Elementary School. By September 29, the first batch of new school buildings was completed. The teachers and students of the school divided the work and cooperated. They moved a table and a chair together and returned to the current location of the school to attend classes. On July 16, 1982, Principal Zheng was ordered to retire and was succeeded by Principal Huang Tingxun. On August 1, 1994, the county government appointed Mr. Wu Rongshu as the third principal of the school. Mr. Wang Huirong is the fourth principal of the school. On August 1, 2007, Mr. Zeng Yulin took over as the fifth principal of the school. Mr. Zhang Qiuming took over as the sixth principal of the school on August 1, 2011. Principal Zhang focuses on character in running the school, and also attaches great importance to students' holistic development and further education. Under the leadership of Principal Zhang, the school will strengthen the beautification of the campus. , develop campus characteristics, promote reading education, and make students highly competitive.

Ms. Shen Yaqiu took over the post on August 1, 2018 and is the seventh principal of the school. Since the establishment of our school, we have celebrated 50 glorious years.
