Our school is located in the North District of Taoyuan City, across the Nankan River and adjacent to Hutou Mountain. The environment is quiet and the folk customs are simple. Since the school was founded on August 1, 1968, under the careful planning and hard work of the first principal Zheng Lixuan and the current principal Shen Yaqiu, no matter it is the promotion of school affairs, the establishment of academic style or the enrichment of equipment, the addition of school buildings, all Brilliant and impressive.

The school teaches with the goal of paying equal attention to the five educations and strives for balanced development. However, it still attaches great importance to students' professional tutoring, so our school has outstanding performance inmusic, physical education, technology, science education, and Chinese language education. However, educational achievements require long-term nurturing and cannot be achieved in vain. The future development of the school depends on the joint efforts of all teachers and students and the generous teachings of advanced people from all walks of life. The school will be very lucky.

Mr. Liao Jiachun took over as the eighth principal of our school on August 1, 113, the Republic of China. Principal Liao emphasizes the school philosophy of adapting talents and diversifying abilities, and is committed to building a diverse stage for students, not only making students the protagonists of learning, but also making the diverse learning achievements of Qingxi students become the pride of Qingxi.

In 2024, the school has 50 classes (including 3 physical education classes) with 1,408 students. There are also three classes of intermediate night supplementary schools with a total of more than 30 students. In terms of the size of the city's junior high schools, this school can be called a medium to large school.

Our school is currently in a non-free school district, and most of the parents are business people, while the rest are from the military, government, education, industry, and agriculture. There are many institutions and schools in the school district, adjacent to the county stadium, Hutoushan Park, Confucius Temple, Zhonglie Temple, one provincial high school and vocational school, and four primary schools. It is truly a school district with a prosperous literary style.
